Cedar Falls is finally taking the plunge toward building a whitewater course on the Cedar River. Neighboring Waterloo is also moving forward with plans for its own course.

Social Media Platforms for Your Business
By Tabitha Jamerson, Happy Medium, February 3, 2016

It's no secret that being on social media is a necessity in our current day and age. Increasingly more people are turning to social media as a resource for business hours and details, reviews, and as a place to interact and engage with the brand or business. With social media's popularity has come an influx of new and different platforms, offering more avenues for businesses and brands to reach their fans directly. As tempting as it may be for a business to try and hop on board all of the platforms available in an effort to reach more fans, a little restraint is generally the way to go. I believe the phrase I'm looking for here is, "Quality over quantity."
