Executive Director - Clinton Regional Development Corp.


The Clinton Regional Development Corporation (CRDC), Clinton, Iowa seeks an experienced individual for the position of Executive Director. The CRDC is a public/private partnership begun in 1953 to provide business development assistance for the partner service area.


Executive Director Required Skills and Experience:

Candidates with five + years of progressively responsible economic development experience are considered ideal for this position. It is important for the Director to have technical skills and/or awareness in the areas of development, asset management and strategic planning. Also essential is an ability to provide leadership and direction to the Board and partners. However, the most important hiring consideration will be the candidate’s emotional intelligence and leadership qualities.

Leadership Characteristics:

The CRDC is seeking candidates who are creative, passionate engaging with the ability to build trusting relationships. The new Director will be considered an integral part of the community who will engage the partners, stakeholders and community members. The new Director should be ready and able to embrace the ideas of empowerment, learning and team-oriented solutions.

The CRDC is specifically seeking:

Starting salary of $90,000 to $150,000 is offered, depending on qualifications. Position includes insurance and PTO benefits.
